Moving around the world!

Well, it seems that I have forgotten to keep up with this blog, again. However, like all the other times, I have now remembered to go back and update it about our journeys! Since it's been a while since I've updated here--let me sum up what has been going on in our lives...

Like alot of you probably know, before we moved to Germany we headed home for a month. Something that was very much needed. So off to Michigan we headed! It was there, in Michigan, I realized that I seemed to have a knack for wild life photography! Not only was I pretty decent at it, I also greatly enjoyed it!

Better yet, while in Michigan we experienced different weather everyday!

Okay, Okay, let me stop before I bore you with birds and plant life. I absolutely loved going home...and Tanya was in love with America! Absolutely in love! We all had a great time and we were all sad to go, the time went by far too quick! Luckily, I took some shots of our vacation that will last a lifetime! Now whenever we get homesick, we can at least have photos to look at!

Tanya was so in love with the snow! Not to mention she got to see all her cousins while in Michigan! (That might have been a big factor in why she loved Michigan...the spoiling and amazing grandparents probably helped a bit with that too!)

As you can see, Tanya and her cousin Aubrey were awesome together! They are only 7 weeks apart! There are tons of photos that I could post but I should probably stop here! Anyway, We all enjoyed ourselves and were sad to say good-bye to everyone. Yet, at the same time we were excited to be moving to Germany!

Let me just say, now that we are officially here...it is truly amazing! In the next post, I will show tons of photos of the town we are living in and even a festival :) See you next time!

The Last Few Days

So we are leaving in less than three days, with that being said, we have a sick toddler-- great, right?

However, during that time I got some awesome photos of her. Photos that showed her peaceful side. Still, with us leaving South Korea so soon I can't help but hope she will not be sick on the flight home. So let's hope to a perfectly healthy toddler for our flight home, and for her to maybe sleep through all of it, haha--one can hope, right?

I can't wait until we get back state side to see everyone and enjoy being in the presence of family again! With that being said, I also can't wait until we also move to Germany! Well, until the next entry-- which will more than likely be posted from a different continent, whether it be from America or Germany! :)

A New Year

Hello everyone, and Happy New Years!!! Okay, well, so I’m two hours late on the celebration but better late than never! I would first like to begin with, "It's been one heck of a year." Actually, that would not even give it justice!
Thinking back on all that this year has brought made me realize just how busy we truly were. Last year, Tanya was only nine months old. She, like most children, was not yet walking or talking and yet today we couldn't seem to get her to be calm down and stop running around. In the past year, Tanya has transformed from a shy little baby to a hyper, sweet, dramatic little diva. I can say with absolute confidence that her personality has completely changed!

Not only did our baby transform to a toddler overnight, other large changed happened in the family as well. I finally got up the nerve to start college--it took a while, I know! That being said, I am absolutely loving it and doing so amazing in my courses. My current GPA is almost a 3.4, which for me, is really amazing! I couldn't be more proud of myself! College keeps me on my toes, make me feel great about what I’m doing--no matter how stressful it is, and is always keeping me busy!

Now let's move onto the country that we are currently living in-- South Korea. In the past year, we have finally become more adventurous when it comes to exploring the amazing country but not without the help of some friends.  In the past year, we've made some amazing friends as well as had to say 'Good bye' to some.

Now, after finally feeling so at home here, we know that it is time for us to leave. We have come to love South Korea and so it's only natural that we are sad to leave. However, a new adventure awaits us by the name of Germany! An adventure that I am all too sure will be just as amazing! While moving is always difficult, I am very grateful for things such as Facebook, Skype and Emailing. These three things make moving away from friends and family possible.

So, most of you are probably wondering just how much time we have left in South Korea. Well, we leave in about a week! Yes, you heard right, about a week. It's crazy--isn't it? Yet it's also exciting at the same time! We are taking 'leave' to go see family before we head to Germany, so that makes it even better! Tanya gets to see her cousins, her grandparents, her aunts and her uncles and everyone else under the sun! We are packed and ready to go!

So, let's move onto to New Years Resolutions.
Do you know what the 'Top Ten New Year's Resolutions' for most people are?
No? Well, I'll tell you.

1.) Spend more time with Family and Friends
2.)Fit in Fitness
3.) Tame the Bulge
4.) Quit Smoking
5.) Enjoy Life More
6.) Quit Drinking
7.) Get out of Debt
8.) Learn Something New
9.) Help Others
10.) Get Organized.

Luckily, only one of those are on my list--and it's #2. I want a life style change. I don't need to really lose weight. (As much as I complain about it!) However, I do need to start toning up and exercising daily. To help myself with the new task , I have already started it a month ago and so far, it's going pretty good.

However, that is not the only new Years Resolution for me. My last one is to get into more photos with my daughter. You see those two photos of my daughter and I? They are two out of the ten that I have. (Or somewhere around there!) While that may not seem bad, I am referring to the entire year. When I had realized that, I immediately decided on this goal.

So those are my two goals for the New Years! What are yours? How do you plan on accomplishing them? Whatever your goals are and however you plan on getting them done, I hope all of you had an amazing new year! Remember to sit down, relax, and enjoy the little things in life. Once more, Happy New Years!!! :)

October

As everyone knows, October usually means 'Halloween' for most! This year is our first year where Tanya can actually enjoy this holiday...for several reasons.

1.) She can eat Candy now that she is 19 months old, instead of 7 months old like she was last Halloween.
2.) She can walk and talk, (maybe not fluently but she CAN talk!)
3.) While she may not fully grasp the concept of it, she can enjoy the fact that she gets candy. In short, she LOVED it!
So Justin helped me make an AWESOME pumpkin for her! With her own name and all! She tried to eat it at first, but when we put a candle in it, she was in awe! Then, we went on post to Trick-Or-Treat! She went as a Kitty and had far too much fun! By the end of the night, her basket was full of candies!!

It really was almost too perfect. Why, you ask? It was just this week that Justin had taught her how to "rawr' like a kitty and...well, more like a Tiger but a tiger is still a feline! So we were even lucky enough to get her to growl at some of the houses! Too cute!! :) I hope everyone else had a GREAT Halloween!!

Coffee, Fashionita and enjoying life

So it seems that I havn't realized just how big of a Diva my daughter has turned into...until now. So not only is she a Diva, she's a Fashionista ...therefor a Fashionista Diva?
Today, we had a coffee date and a pajama party!

And this is what the pajama party looked like!

She'll be 19 months old this month and she has yet to get her first hair cut. This is why her hair is super long!

Now back to how my life is going. I recently just finished my mid terms! I got B's on both of them!! Woohoo!!! I was pretty nervous about it but i'm holding B's in both the classes! In a few weeks I will be taking the exams and will be starting my next term which will be super fun!

Next month, I'm fully booked with photoshoots EACH weekend. It's absolutely ridiculous. I believe I have about 5 photoshoots in October! Most of them are Maternity, which i'm super excited about! :)

Last but definitly not least, i'm hoping to get a Macro lens soon so I can get even better nature photos! Once I do, I will be in heaven!! I definitely need one! Hope everyone enjoys the photos of everything and everyone! Have a great week!

Naked people, college, photography and life

(So like the title says, WOW! It's been 2 months! I have definitely been neglecting blogging. So if anyone still reads this, you're thinking "What's new?" Oh good lord, so many things. )

1.) My photography business is picking up! I'm getting usually at least 2-3 clients a month. It's not awesome but I feel like it's pretty major for me right now! Here is an update on my photography! I recently went to a body painting festival in Daegu! It was SO awesome! Half of the people were almost naked except for their underwear! It was an awesome, artistic and unique event...so naturally I brought my camera ;)

The next day, we went to the same place but they were having a "dress" festival. It included body paint but mostly dresses! Here are the rest of the photos!

As i'm sure you can see, I had a blast. It was great. Awesome music, great food and great time to practice with my camera ;) That was our major thing that we went to in the past 2 months. Tanya's obviously older, 18 months! Almost a 2 year old...I still can not believe it! Tanya recently got a mini cooper. Here are the photos!

If you're not impressed with her car yet let me tell you some of it's 'basic' features. AM & FM radio, Ipod plug in, working lights. Just the basics. Along with obviously forward and reverse and steering and the much needed horn. She can control it herself (With the gas petal and such) or we can control it with a remote. Anyway, it's pretty awesome and I think I might be a tad bit jealous of my daughter! :)

So, what's new with me personally? Not much, I started college. So far it's going okay. I've got A's in both my classes and it's nearing a month since they've started. My school only does 8 week terms so it's halfway done. I'm currently taking Intro to Criminal Justice and Intro to Psychology. Psychology is almost kicking my butt...for the simple reason that I have to read hundreds of pages and take tons of quizzes and discussions.  Aside from that, life is lovely. We are taking leave for back home in Michigan in early January for a month! That will be exciting and very much needed. Then we head to our new home in Germany! Wohoo! :)
