Tanya's Birthday, Missing Cake, Germany and Teeth

(So like usual, lately we've been pretty darn busy with tons of things to do!)

Lately, I've been making sure to take Tanya outside as often as I can. Mainly because the weather is beautiful and also for the reason that she absolutely adores it! She loves going on walks (that consist of her sitting in her stroller haha) and seeing everything outside and all the people. Although Tanya has been waving to us for some time her new thing to do is wave to the every person that passes her because she has learned they will stop and pay attention to her...she's definitely smart! On another note, I have discovered I am in love with taking photos outside...even if it's of Tanya or just the scenery.

Lately it simply astounds me how quick she grows up. Oh! Tanya has started walking...again. This time she tries to do it when we've not looking. So we pretend not to see and play along haha.

Last week we had a family day at Little Bear (Yes to little bear again haha). Justin and myself and another couple once again went to Little Bear to let Tanya have a blast. She did, obviously. Also one of my Korean friends showed up with her daughter which was pretty cool! Anyway, Tanya is now getting old enough for most of the stuff in Little Bear which is exciting!! We had an amazing lunch there and an overall great time!

Looking at the picture above you might be trying to figure out what that is. Let me make it easy on you. This was about 12 hours before Tanya's birthday Party. About a month ago we ordered a very beautiful Princess cake...about at 7pm we went to pick it up (The day before the party) and low and behold they told us the cake was lost. They had it this morning but don't anyway. We had a nice loooong chat with them and still no cake. By then it was too late to order another cake or go to Korean Bakery so my I decided to improvise!

That was pretty much the process of our cake...and our attempt at a Hello Kitty cake with no cake materials almost. We had the cake but we made the frosting out of whipcream and ect. We pretty much just worked with what we had. Anyway, The cake tasted amazing!

And this would be Tanya's birthday party!! She loved all her toys and everything! I think I would be correct to say she enjoyed the cake the most though. She got tons of toys and clothes which was awesome and by the end of the party pretty much looked like she was going to go into a cake coma! She even got some money (Won) that she decided to put in her mouth and dance around with!!

This week has been the "Calming down" period after her birthday party and everything. So I've been staying home and playing with Tanya and her birthday gifts. On a very important note...I found a Krispy Creme place in Daegu! It's at Camp Henry and it is AMAZING!! For anyone that does not know, I LOVE doughnuts but my favorite are Krispy cremes!!

Yesterday we noticed that Tanya's 8th tooth has popped out!! She now has 4 on the top and 4 on the bottom! And what has she learned to do with these new found teeth? Let me tell you! She has learned how to open jars, NumNum tops, and other things with her teeth! That way she doesn't have to wait for mommy or daddy to do it for her haha. Sadly we learned this the messy way when I gave her the NumNum Jar to play with in the car (Not knowing she could open the top and spill all the food out) but once again with Tanya a lesson is learned!

Tanya also got a blow up pool for her birthday...not knowing what she would think about it I blew it up, put a nice comfy blanket in it and some toys and oh my gosh did she have a BLAST! She played in it for about 2 hours before exhausting herself out! She and her friend had a blast!

Now onto the very last subject. For those of you who didn't know we just got our next duty station! *Drum roll* In about 9 months we will be leaving for....GERMANY!!! We will be in Germany for 3 years...We wanted Germany so we're actually shocked that we got what we wanted. I miss germany and can't wait to travel around Europe! Where we are stationed we will be about a 2 hour drive from France...and like a 3-4 hour drive from Switzerland...honestly how much better does it get? Luckily I still remember German but I should probably brush up on it now that we will be living there for 3 years in less then a year!!!

Thanks for reading everyone and til next time! :)
